Bommer, Davis, and Wiederhold Come Up Big at Tollesboro Lions Club Pull

Charlestown, IN (July 25, 2022) – Fair week in Tollesboro, Kentucky is an annual highlight for the community and the surrounding area as the Tollesboro Lions Club serves up a variety of activities for the week. The week concluded this year on Saturday July 23 with two Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region classes and a Silver Series class from the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League.

The evening kicked off in front of a packed house with the Hot Farm Tractor division from the Midwest Region. Darren Bommer and his 1206 IH named I Got This lived up to their billing, taking the win on the first hook of the class in a class of 8. Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks came out with 15 entries next, and the Grey Area Chevy of Evan Davis made a late hook past 333 feet for the win in that class. The evening of PPL competition wrapped up with the Silver Series Light Pro Stock Tractors, with eight of the strongest machines in the nation in action. JD Wiederholt made a solid pass halfway through the competition on the Bare Necessities Deere for the win.
