Runner-up finish in Red Rose Rumble at Lancaster

On Saturday afternoon, Ross Bailes returned to the driver’s seat of the Billy Hicks-owned No. 79 Late Model at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series-sanctioned Red Rose Rumble. After topping the speed charts in time trials, Bailes led the opening 18 circuits of the feature but crossed the line in second when the checkered flag flew.
