Legends Late Model Series names new title sponsor for 2023 and beyond
(Little Rock, AR) February 18th, 2023 – The GRT Legends Late Model Series presented by Super Clean will now become the “Titan Legends Late Model Series presented by Super Clean” thanks to new title sponsor, Titan Race Cars.
Bryan Glaze and his team at Titan inked a 3-year commitment with the Legends Late Model Series to ensure steel block late model racing would survive in Arkansas. “We looked at this deal and thought it was a good opportunity for us. The Legends Series continues to grow solid roots in Arkansas, and we are proud to be a part of that growth. We are looking to showcase the hard work of the offseason and our late model program and put multiple cars into competition this year,” said Glaze.
The deal includes an influx to the already more than $5,000 season ending points fund as well as some cash for operating expenses. “We are happy to have Bryan and the folks at Titan onboard with us this year. The series has picked up some momentum and we added a couple new tracks this year and we are looking forward to an exciting 2023,” said Justin Newman, series director.
“This deal will allow us to make the series something drivers can be proud of and add to a list of accolades in their careers. We appreciate the past title sponsor, GRT Race Cars, and all they did for us, and we hope they will remain on as a contingency sponsor in some way. Wesley and the folks at GRT are great and our growth is partly because of their support these last two seasons,” continued Newman.
Geoff Aitken will be looking to defend his 2022 series title as the stars and cars of the Titan Legends Late Model Series presented by SuperClean make their way around the state on a 16-race schedule at (6) of Arkansas' famed dirt ovals!
