GRT Legends Late Models set to invade the Outlaw Track of the South!
Centerville, AR - This Friday, April 9th the GRT Race Cars Legends Late Model Series will be making the trip to Centerville Super Speedway for their second night on the 2021 tour paying $1,000 to win/$100 to start!
2020 series champion Scotty Freeman of Hector, AR is expected to defend his title in his new #007 Cunningham Metals/Rocket alongside series regulars Robert Myers, Brayden Proctor, and Eddie Hoyer’s #4Play 4Play SpeedShop/GRT.
Newcomer to the series and the opener’s feature winner, Jason Miles of Glenwood, AR will pilot the Stuckey Enterprise Black Diamond/Buster Robert’s Logging #503 and will be looking to make it two in a row. Series regular Dustin Holmes’ Glenwood Auto Parts/Rocket #33X also of Glenwood, is looking to make the short drive to the ‘Outlaw Track of the South’ after winning the Hard Charger award last week at Diamond Park Speedway. Jon Kirby of Russellville, AR and his Kirby Enterprises/Rocket XR1 #11 knows his way around the high banks and sweeping D shaped oval at Centerville and will be looking to take home a win after coming up just short in the opener against Miles.
Also expected is Bono, Arkansas’ Mark Nichols in his Bode Land Company/Pierce Race Cars #21 along with Doug Dunn in the #3D NewWay Trucking/Warrior along with many other local late model hot shoes!
Series sponsor GRT Race Cars has put up a $100 bonus for the highest finishing GRT in the A Main and Designer Graphics of Florida awards the series Hard Charger to the hardest charging competitor each weekend!
The pit gates open at 6pm; grandstand gates open at 7pm; racing is at 9pm! Other local classes will include: Young Guns, LeadSled, Sportsman, Arkansas Factory Stock, FWD Stingers and Outlaw Hobby.
