Wild West Shootout

Karl Chevrolet Ups the Ante for SLM Racers at the WWS

VADO, N.M. (Dec. 28, 2023) — When competitors in the Dirt Track Super Late Model division presented by Black Diamond Racecars converge on FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park for the 18th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts they have no shortage of chances to claim some major cash and prizes.

If a driver can win all six Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model features presented by Black Diamond Race Cars, he or she will receive a $300,000 bonus as part of the Penske Racing Shocks $300,000 Paydirt Jackpot.

The bonus program also includes a $100,000 incentive for five wins and a $25,000 bonus for four miniseries victories during the January 6-14, 2024 mega miniseries at the state-of-the-art New Mexico oval. A Super Late Model driver able to sweep the week by winning five $10,000-to-win features, the $25,000 finale and the $3,000 point fund would depart the desert with over $378,000.

Now the pot has been sweetened even further by Iowa’s Karl Chevrolet. Led by Carl Moyer the company is adding a nightly $1,000 “Karl Kash” bonus to each Super Late Model feature winner. That means the first five events for the division now pay $11,000-to-win and the Rio Grande Waste Services 50 presented by Shaw Trucking final now boasts a $26,000 winner’s prize.

And last but not least if a driver wins all six Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model features presented by Black Diamond Racecars during the Wild West Shootout, he or she will win a 2024 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT 5.3L truck of their choice and will get to choose the color. If the winner chooses to upgrade the vehicle, they must pay the difference. The winner of the truck is responsible for tax, title, and license based on winner’s residence. No Cash Value.

Karl Chevrolet also is providing the Official Pace Truck for the 18th annual Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

“I can’t say enough about what Carl Moyer and Karl Chevrolet are doing to make our event even bigger. How cool would it be to see a driver win all six Super Late Model features and get the $300,000 Penske Paydirt Jackpot Bonus plus a new truck from Karl Chevrolet,” shared event promoter Chris Kearns. “Our staff is already starting to assemble at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park, and we look forward to seeing a lot of familiar and new faces next week.”
