VADO, N.M. (August 24, 2022) — For 2023, Black Diamond Race Cars will once again be the presenting sponsor of the Super Late Model division at the Rio Grande Waste Services Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

With the continued support from the Louisiana-based chassis builder the division will once again be tabbed as the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars during the six-race miniseries, which spans January 7-15, 2023 at the state-of-the-art FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park.

A Shreveport, La.-based Dirt Late Model chassis manufacturer operated by the husband-and-wife duo of Ronnie and Terri Stuckey, Black Diamond has a long history of involvement in the Southwest’s mid-winter racing extravaganza.

For 2023 even more money will be on the line for the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars as they battle in five $10,000-to-win events as well as the $25,000-to-win finale.

Over $70,000 in additional cash prizes have been infused into the January 2023 event for the division.

“Ronnie and Terri Stuckey represent some of our longest-tenured supporters of the Wild West Shootout. Each year they go above-and-beyond to support us in every way possible, said Wild West Shootout event manager Ben Shelton. “Not only does the company sponsor the miniseries, but each year Ronnie is at the event to provide at-track support for all the Black Diamond Race Car competitors in attendance.

“It’s support from folks like the Stuckey family that has allowed us to grow the Wild West Shootout to the big event that it has become.
