RHRSwag.com, Barnett Harley-Davidson Return as X-Mod Division Sponsors for 2021 Wild West Shootout
Mega Event Set for January 8, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 16, 2022 at Vado Speedway Park
VADO, N.M. (November 3, 2021) — The X-Mod division, competing at the 2022 Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, will once again boast title sponsorship from RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories, while Barnett Harley-Davidson returns as presenting sponsor, miniseries officials have announced.
The division will be tabbed as the RHRSwag.com X-Mods presented by Barnett Harley-Davidson throughout the six-race extravaganza at FK Rod Ends Vado Speedway Park.
In addition, as previously announced, thanks to Eagle Moon Hemp, the X-Mods will now race four nights (up from 2) for the increased $1,000 to win purse on Jan 8, 9, 15, and 16.
Scott Bintz, aka the “Red Headed Rebel heads RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories, a Jamestown, N.D.-based company that offers a wide variety of truck accessories and “cool products for dirt-track racers and fans.
Bintz is a longtime supporter of the Wild West Shootout and a Modified racer himself, who retired from competition after competing in the 2019 miniseries, but has since returned to racing at select events, including the 2021 edition of the Wild West Shootout.
“I am very pleased that RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories has been a long-standing supporter of the Wild West Shootout. The action-packed racing from the X-Mods to the Late Models is spectacular to watch. ‘Who’s the driver to watch for 2022?’ We will find out soon enough at the top shelf Vado Speedway Park facility, Scott Bintz said.
“I’m excited to have Scott (Bintz) and the RHRSwag.com Truck Accessories team back for another year with us here at the Wild West Shootout. It is a long-standing relationship that I enjoy, and as was the case in 2021, it is great to have Scott back behind the wheel as a participant as well, said event marketing director, Jason Babyak.
“The same goes for Sherman Barnett, regarding his returning involvement as a sponsor with his company Barnett Harley-Davidson and yet again, as a racer. At 86 years young, Sherman has been racing much longer than most people he races against have been alive. To have a friend and event sponsor like that is rare and extremely special to me. His ability behind the wheel of a racecar is absolutely astonishing and unmatched, added Babyak.
Dubbed the “World’s most liked Harley-Davidson dealership, Barnett Harley-Davidson is located in El Paso, Texas, and has become a stalwart sponsor of the Wild West Shootout each year, through company owner Sherman Barnett, who has also been a regular participant in the mid-winter event along with his wife Christy Georges-Barnett.
