Dirt Track Banks Joins Wild West Shootout as Super Late Model Title Sponsor

Dirt Track Bank signs on as title sponsor of Super Late Model class for 2020 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Sept. 27, 2019) – The 2020 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts' headline Super Late Model division will boast title sponsorship from Dirt Track Bank, event officials have announced.

The featured class during the six-race mini-series that runs from Jan. 11-19 at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway will be known as the Dirt Track Bank Super Late Models presented by Black Diamond Race Cars, bringing the financial institution’s name to the forefront through the mid-winter action that also includes racing for the Modified and X-Modified divisions.

Based in Malvern, Iowa, Dirt Track Bank caters to the specialized needs of all those involved in the dirt-track racing industry. The affiliate of Malvern Bank offers race fans the opportunity to make deposits with a firm that provides services such as loans for racers looking to purchase haulers or expand their motorsports businesses as it strives to fulfill its role as the Official Bank of Dirt Track Racing.

“We’ve been calling Malvern Bank ‘The Official Bank of Dirt Track Racing’ for years, and in our quest to increase the bank’s core depositor base we just decided to take the next step and actually create a completely separate online bank that everyone involved with dirt track racing could call their own, said Malvern Bank president Jay Burdic. “We feel that the Wild West Shootout will be the perfect venue to introduce the world of dirt track racing to Dirt Track Bank.

“If most race fans are like me, once January rolls around we’re all tired of the cold and snow and ready to watch some racing, whether we do it in person or at home. The Wild West Shootout will provide a captive audience and will allow us to get the word out that Dirt Track Bank is unlike anything that fans have seen before, and that their deposits into Dirt Track Bank will be used to fund the race haulers that get our favorite drivers from track-to-track throughout the year.

Malvern Bank already is a big backer of the sport through its sponsorship of the Nebraska-based Malvern Bank Super Late Model Series and Missouri-based Malvern Bank Cash Money Super Dirt Series.

“Over the past few years Jay Burdic and everyone at Malvern Bank have gone out of their way to support the dirt track community, Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout event manager Ben Shelton said. “With this newest endeavor, they are further entrenching themselves into our sport. I think it’s really cool that we now have a bank for the racing community that is run by the racing community. What better way to invest our money than to put it into an institution like Dirt Track Bank that helps racers reach their goals?

“Last but not least, I can’t stress enough what support from great companies like Dirt Track Bank and Black Diamond Race Cars means to the Wild West Shootout. With their backing we are able to continue to grow what is already a mega event.

Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout officials recently announced that online sales of single- and multi-day tickets have begun for the Southwest’s popular miniseries, which will pay out over $230,000 in purses over six nights of Super Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing. Tripleheaders are set for Jan. 11, 12, 15, 17, 18 and 19.

The Dirt Track Bank Super Late Model presented by Black Diamond Race Cars portion of the miniseries will once again boast the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge, a lucrative program that offers a $250,000 bonus for sweeping all six features; $100,000 for winning five; $25,000 for capturing four; and $10,000 for claiming three. With the Wild West Shootout offering five features paying $5,000 to win and a $15,000-to-win finale, a driver able to pull off the feat of sweeping the races would depart Arizona with over $290,000.
