Hill Eager to Compete at Gallatin Speedway During This Weekend’s Grizzly Nationals

Inside Line Promotions – SIX NATIONS, Ontario, Canada (July 6, 2021) – Alex Hill is looking forward to returning to racing this weekend after an idle weekend with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.

Hill will join the traveling series at Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont., for the Grizzly Nationals on Friday and Saturday.

“I’m looking forward to returning to Montana,” she said. “This is a big event and it’s always fun to race in front of a lot of fans. Unfortunately, the track has taken rubber the last couple of times we’ve been there so I hope that doesn’t happen again this time.”

Hill is coming off a successful run during the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup hosted by Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., and she is looking to build on that momentum this weekend.

“We had a good weekend at Dirt Cup and we hope to continue that this weekend,” she said. “We’re getting close to a busy time of year for us. Speedweek is just a couple of weeks away and then 360 Knoxville Nationals is right after that, so we’d like to be doing well going into those races.”

While Hill has shown speed often this year, it’s been frequently overshadowed by the luck of the draw.

“We’ve had a really fast car lately, but our results just don’t show it,” she said. “Our results seem to depend on how we draw each night. The draw often seems to make or break our night.

“I’m hoping we draw well this weekend and don’t start out in a hole.”
