Inside Line Promotions – MESQUITE, Texas (Oct. 21, 2020) – Robbie Price highlighted a challenging weekend at the 47th annual Winter Nationals with a 23rd-place finish Friday night at Devil's Bowl Speedway.

"It was a tough weekend," he said. "The way the year has gone for us I guess I can't be surprised, but overall we just were not good."

With 39 cars in attendance for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour season finale, Price began Friday night by advancing one position in a heat race to finish fifth. He then won a B Main from third to secure the 18th starting position in the feature.

Price passed a few cars in the opening laps before he made contact with the frontstretch guardrail on Lap 3. He sustained damage to his sprint car as a result of the contact and decided to pull in to avoid any further problems. He was credited with finishing 23rd.

"I felt like we were decent early in the night, but I just made a mistake in the feature and ended our night early," he said. "Bad decisions and mistakes kind of sums up my whole season and it's just something I need to get better at limiting if I want to be successful."

Saturday night saw Price finish where she started – fifth – in a heat race and he was relegated to a B Main for the second consecutive night. He was running fourth late in the race when he overdrove the car trying to gain the final transfer position, which dropped him to fifth as a result.

"I maybe should've been a little more aggressive early in the night to not have to run the B Main, but then again we were just a little off again," he said. "We had a late restart in the B Main and I knew I needed to make a move if I wanted to transfer. I just overdrove the car and it ended up costing me."
