David Hoiness Captures ASCS Frontier Glory At Gallatin Speedway

BELGRADE, Mont. (August 4, 2017) So close so many times in 2017, and finally that all changed for David Hoiness on Friday night as the Stagg Motorsports No. 27dd roared into Rod End Supply Victory Lane for the first time this season at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont.
Career win No. 6 for the Billings, Mont. racer with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, Hoiness made a statement with a run from ninth to become the season’s seventh different winner in 11 events. Racing to second, Trever Kirkland was followed to the finish by Bryan Brown with eighth starting Clint Anderson fourth, after Roger Cummings was disqualified for not reporting to the scales. Robert DeHaan made up the top-five.
Shane Morgan advanced six positions to sixth with Shad Petersen seventh from 11th. Mindy McCord from 13th rode to an eighth place result with Lany Reber and Butch Capshaw rounding out the top-ten.
Down to the final three nights of the season, the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region returns to action at Sweetwater Speedway in Rock Sprints, Wyoming for a two-night affair on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19. The season wraps up at the Gallatin Speedway with the Big Sky Nationals on September 8.
