Brodix ASCS Frontier Returns To Belgrade and Billings
TULSA, Okla. (July 27, 2016) The Brodix ASCS Frontier Region returns to competition this weekend as the series headlines events at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. on Friday, July 29 and the BMP Speedway in Billings, Mont. on Saturday, July 30.
A familiar pairing, as the two ovals are only a few hours apart, the return to Gallatin Speedway comes just off the Grizzly Nationals, which saw Blake Hahn completing the weekend sweep in Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour competition.
The season’s third trip, and fourth round at the Gallatin Speedway, Skylar Gee took the win in the season’s first win on June 3. For the BMP Speedway, this weekend’s visit is the first on the season with only one other on the lineup at this time in September. Travis Rilat is the most recent winner at the BMP Speedway, topping action on September 19, 2015.
Just off the “Rushmore Rumble” South Dakota’s D.J. Brink has taken over the points lead by a small two point margin over Skylar Gee as the No. 99 experience engine woes at the Black Hills Speedway. Canada’s Kelly Miller holds third only 41 point back with David Hoiness and Jeremy McCune moving into the top-five.
James Sires is sixth with Adam Speckman, Shad Peterson, Damon McCune, and Trever Kirkland making up the top-ten.
