CROSBY’S PRESENTS THE 32ND ANNUAL TRIBUTE TO TOMMY DRUAR AND TONY JANKOWIAK SPONSORED BY COCA-COLA READY TO GO GREEN SATURDAY AT HOLLAND INTERNATIONAL
Holland International Speedway will reopen for the first time with stock car racing this Saturday, August 14 with the running of the Crosby’s presents the 32nd Annual Tribute to Tommy Druar and Tony Jankowiak presented by Coca-Cola. It will be the first time 1072 days since the last race at the facility.
Discount tickets remain on sale at the listed Crosby’s convenience store locations.
The feature of the night will be the 32nd Annual Tribute to Tommy Druar and Tony Jankowiak 110 for the Race of Champions Modified Series. This race night has become a long standing tradition in Western New York and will once again be a focal point and celebration of short track racing in the region.
Several former winners of the race will be in competition, including George Skora, Jr., who may have a home track advantage at Holland.
“I can’t wait for Saturday,” stated Skora. “I have missed racing at Holland and I am really looking forward to getting back there. This should be a great night for Western New York stock car racing and when the race ends, I hope we are standing in victory lane.”
The Race of Champions Street Stocks will run their first race in 2021 with a 37-lap feature, while the FOAR Score Four Cylinder Dash Series will race for 30-laps and $373.37-to-win with the additional award money coming from D.C. and H. Consulting of Williamsville, N.Y. The NYPA TQ Midgets will round out the card for the big night of racing.
In addition to the racing action, the 2020 “pandemic” class for the FOAR Score Hall-of-Fame will be inducted during a special pre-race ceremony prior to driver introductions for the 110-lap feature event.
