RACE OF CHAMPIONS AND CHEMUNG SPEEDROME TO HOST SOUTHERN TIRE “SHOWDOWN” FOR RACE OF CHAMPIONS ASPHALT SPORTSMAN MODIFIED AND FOUR CYLINDER DASH SERI
Chemung Speedrome is set to host the “Southern Tier Showdown” this Saturday for the Race of Champions Asphalt Sportsman Modified Series and Race of Champions Four Cylinder Dash Series this Saturday.
The one-day show for the Sportsman will be a 75-lap event extra distance feature, with the Dash Series competing for 25-laps. It will be the first-ever Series visit for the Sportsman, while Bob Bogner of Orchard Park, N.Y., won the Four Cylinder Dash Series opener on May 18, 2019.
Chuck Hossfeld of Ransomville, N.Y., has won the last two Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series events on the schedule at Spencer Speedway and New York International Raceway Park, home to Lancaster National Speedway.
