USL Non-Wing Sprints highlight Caney Valley Speedway season opener

GLENPOOL, Okla. (April 30, 2024) - Rees Moran is off to a perfect start and will be looking to retain his points lead when the Ortco Inc. United Sprint League presented by Same Day Auto Repair stops at Caney Valley Speedway on Saturday.
Moran won the season opening Hero 100 and won again April 13 at Creek County Speedway but only holds a five-point lead over Brock Cottrell in the points race.
Saturday’s USL event is the third of the season and will start the tow money program for top 10 drivers. After two events 13 drivers have perfect attendance so series owner Michael Tyre has decided to expand the program to include all 13 drivers. The top five in points will be paid $100 each while 6-13 will receive $50 each.
Saturday’s program is opening night for Caney Valley Speedway and will be the first points race for AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories USRA B-Mods, Tom’s Auto & Sales Factory Stocks, Smith’s Auto & Tire Pure Stocks and Main Street Auto USRA Tuners.
Gates open art 4 p.m., hot laps at 6:30 followed by racing at 7.
Adult admission is $15, $10 Senior, $5 age 6-12, 5 and under are FREE. Pit passes are $35.
