Bruce Buckwalter Jr came into the 2022 season, looking for more consistency and hoping to crack into victory lane, especially at the smaller venues like Winchester and Action Track USA.
The veteran driver found success with runs inside the top ten on a handful of occasions starting at Delaware International early in the season. Like 10th place in points driver Christian Bruno, Buckwalter also struggled with engine issues at Selinsgrove in July, but rebounded with a big top top ten run at Clinton County.
With work, and a busy family life, Buckwalter and team pick and chose which shows to attend in 2022, but ended the year on a high note with two top ten runs at Winchester, a track where Buckwalter is very comfortable, and at the fast half mile at the Bedford Speedway in October to round out the season.
Expect much of the same from Buckwalter for 2023, possibly running the full tour with a smaller number of races being booked for the 2023 season. The talented graphic designer was a big part of USAC EC in 2023 providing championship signs and checks, victory lane boards, and winners checks throughout the 2023 season through his company BDB Graphics. We thank Bruce for his support of the series in more ways than one, and look forward to more success for Bruce in 2023!
