Morgantown, PA Micro sprint regular, and winner, Kenny Miller lll made a late season move into the ranks of the USAC East Coast Sprint Car Series and immediately had an impressive mark on the series.
Miller made his series debut in late August in the series double header weekend at the Bedford Speedway and was immediately fast. Miller was among the fastest of all drivers in hot laps on Friday at Bedford before the show was unfortunately lost due to rain. Miller then moved to the Port Royal Speedway where the young driver finished 12th in the feature event on a very challenging and slick surface.
The early September series stop at the Delaware International Speedway would prove to be a memorable one, as an incredible feature even would play out. Kenny Miller would grab the feature event win in lapped traffic, in what would be his second ever feature event start.
Miller would run the remaining events on the series schedule making all seven of the feature events that were contested through the rest of the season from September on. Miller would collected five top ten finishes in those seven starts, including picking up a second series win at the Big Diamond Speedway in the series finale twin 20’s program.
The former Action Track USA 600cc Micro sprint champion, and now two time series winner will again return to the series for the 2021 season, vying for Rookie of the Year honors on the 2021 series trail. The team has purchased a new DRC Chassis, and will keep the DRC Chassis that they utilized during the 2020 season and will be fully prepared for an expanded scheduled in 2021.
With an expanded schedule on tap for the 2021 series season, look for Miller to be a front runner each and every time the series hits the surface in 2021.
