RACE RECAP: 2022 Race No. 118: September 3, 2022 Prelude to Darlington – NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing – Florence Motor Speedway
FLORENCE, S.C. – Matt Cox and Bryant Barnhill won twin-30 lap NASCAR Advance Auto Part Weekly Racing Series Late Model Stock races Saturday night at Florence Motor Speedway, as the track celebrated with their Prelude to Darlington.
Cox won the first feature, his third NASCAR win on the season, he was followed by Ryan Glenski and Kade Brown. In the nightcap it was a flag-to-flag run to the win for Barnhill, his first of the season. Brown was second with Regina Servant third.
Josh Speas also went flag-to-flag winning the 25-lap US Legends Cars feature. Other winners were: Ricky Locklair Jr in Chargers, Cody Kelley in Super Trucks, Todd Amerson in Street Stocks, A.J. Sanders in Mini Stocks and Kaeden Ballos in Bandoleros.
