Lebanon, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series made their return to Willamette Speedway on Saturday, July 21st. It was the second and final visit by the Non-Wing 360 Sprint series to the historic 1/3-mile clay oval. Seventeen cars were in attendance representing the states of Oregon, Washington, and California.

Lindsay Barney, of Eagle Creek, would be the car to beat for majority of the main event. She would hold the top spot until the final circuit when Pat Canfield blitzed around her for the win. For Canfield, of Ariel, Washington, it was his first win of the season with the series and his second career WSS victory.

Lindsay Barney finished second with Sherwood’s Rob Lindsey in third. Mark Herz, of Sandy, was fourth followed by fifth finishing Tim Alberding, from Salem. Pat Canfield was fast time of the night while heat races were won by Barney, Forest Grove’s Jake Gilman, and Atascadero, California chauffeur Ryan Stolz.
