Hunter Fischer Shootout Bound
Hunter Fischer has officially entered into the 34th annual Tulsa Shootout in Tulsa, OK. Driving the house car for Skip Wendt in the Skip's Performance Corner #17, Hunter will make the transition from midgets and return to his roots in a micro for the stock and outlaw class non-wing events. This will be great practice for the Chili Bowl, just a short 2 weeks later.
Over 600 drivers and 270 races are expected to compete in the 2019 edition of the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout, which takes place at the Tulsa Expo Raceway, located inside the River Spirit Expo Center, with action kicking off January 2, 2019, and running through January 5, 2019.
The opening day of racing on Wednesday, January 2 will start at 9:00 A.M. with Practice for all classes, followed by Heat Races that evening. Start time is tentative for 5:00 P.M. and can change depending on how long it takes to run all teams through their hot lap sessions. Racing continues each day through Saturday, January 5, 2019.
Come out and grab a pit pass to see all the race teams up close and personal. Stop by and say "Hello", buy a T-shirt, get autographs, and be prepared for some exciting racing all week!
