Tulsa Shootout Early Entry Closes December 19

TULSA, Okla. (December 18, 2016) The cut off for teams to enter the 31st annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout is Monday, December 19, 2016 at Noon, Tulsa Time.

Teams who chose not to pre-enter can do so at the event during move-in on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from Noon until 6:00 P.M. (CT). Registration is $120 per class.

A look at the drivers who are pre-entered finds several who are using the Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout as a means of practice for the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire. At the time of press, 36 of the drivers entered into the Tulsa Shootout will be back for the Chili Bowl, happening January 10-14, 2017.

Over the nine classes available, the number of entries going into Monday’s deadline stands at 840 strong among 408 drivers from 34 states and three provinces.

Divisions for the 32nd annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout include Winged and Non-Wing 600cc Outlaw Micros, A-Class 600cc Micros, ASCS ECOtec Midgets, Restricted Micros,1200cc Winged Mini Sprints, 1200cc Non Wing Mini Sprints and the exciting Jr. Sprint class for the kids from 6-12.

In All Classes, as long as you are in the age range you are allowed to compete. In Jr. Sprints, ages 6-12 are allowed to compete (If you turned 13 during the 2016 season, you can still compete). For Restricted, ages 8-16 are allowed (If you turned 17 during the 2016 season, you can still compete). In all classes, Driver must be at least 12 years of age regardless at the time of sign in. Proof of age may be required.
