RENEWED ENERGY FOR WARRIOR SPRINTS

As the Warrior Sprint Car Series heads to El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado this weekend, the series has a renewed sense of energy as the leadership of the series has been turned over to longtime racer and business owner, Mike Hathaway.

Hathaway became the interim director of the series last week after a meeting was held to work on improving attendance and interest. Hathaway immediately went to work creating a staff to support the series. Within days, a new sponsor was named with Mystic Mountain Distillery of Larkspur, Colorado coming on board.

"We want to build for 2020, but we need to show that the series has a foundation and is building in 2019. With added staff, and new sponsors coming on board, I cannot see why we cant make this deal take off and be successful" Hathaway said.

The series will be hosting 4 events at EPCR in Calhan, Colorado to finish out 2019 and will be working with Honor Speedway in Pueblo, Colorado to help bolster attendance at their remaining 2019 events. In 2020, the two series will combine to create a unified series that travels to all Colorado tracks and surrounding states.
