POWRi Lightning Sprint Weekly | September 30 – October 1

Belleville, IL. (10/2/22) Locating a trio of chances of outstanding open-wheel action slated for the weekend, the POWRi Lightning Sprint Division continues to highlight the seasonal quest for National Championship infamy with the Minn-Kota and Southwest regions running. Clinging to a surge of late-seasonal points, the father and son Truscinski duo remain atop the championship picture with Alex leading his father Alan heading into the final few events of the yearly competition.

Feature winners would include Minnesota open-wheel talent Kelsi Pederson sweeping the Buffalo River MKLS two-day weekend to secure up to her ninth career feature victory. Southwest Lightning Sprints would witness Grant Sexton extend his career win count to twelve while wrapping up the racing weekend.
