JHR Welcomes Crockett and Pope To 2019 Chili Bowl Lineup With One Ride Remaining
Bryan Hulbert - BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (November 13, 2018) Filling two of three rides offered, Johnny Herrera Racing (JHR) has confirmed Roger Crockett and Anthony Pope as wheelmen for the 33rd Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals presented by General Tire.
Crockett returns for his second attempt at the big show with JHR and Pope entering his first Chili Bowl.
Both multi-talented drivers out of the State of Oregon, Herrera is excited to see what the pair can do in the team's Spike/Esslinger combination.
"Roger is fast in just about anything, and we work really well together so I'm looking forward to what he can do this year, and giving Anthony his first shot at the Chili Bowl, I think he'll do well. He’s very talented, whether it’s Karts or Sprint Cars, I have a lot of confidence in what he can do."
