WST Set For $5,000.00 To Win Show At Siskiyou Motor Speedway

Yreka, California- On Friday August 14th some of the top teams in the Western United States will head to Siskiyou Motor Speedway in beautiful Yreka, California with the Western Sprint Tour. The WST visited the 1/4-mile clay oval earlier this year back in late June. Colby Copeland was the winner of that race and it looks like a new winner will emerge as Copeland will be absent and racing in Knoxville.
The best part of this race is that it is held during the annual Siskiyou Golden Fair. A race has been held during the fair from 2011-13. Kyle Larson won in 2011 and Kyle Hirst won in 2012 and 2013. Hirst will look to put the Finley Farms team back in victory lane. In the last five Sprint Car races Scott and Jason Finley have won four of them as car owners with both Larson and Hirst.
The next night the fans are in for a real treat at Southern Oregon Speedway especially the young fans. SOS will be offering a Kids Night promotion which will get fans TWELVE YEARS OLD AND YOUNGER INTO THE RACES FOR FREE. It's a great way to take the whole family out to watch some great races and spend time together.
The Western Sprint Tour is the Pacific Northwest region's most premier touring 360 Sprint car series.
