Western Sprint Tour Anticipates First Races Of 2015 On April 24th And 25th

Cottage Grove, Oregon- The wait is almost complete as the newly formed Western Sprint Tour will have it's inaugural debut at the Cottage Grove Speedway on Friday April 24th and Saturday the 25th for the Spring Showdown. These two events will no doubt thrill fans with electrifying action by the best 360 Sprint Car drivers in the Pacific Northwest. Several teams from all over the Pacific Northwest plan on making the haul to CGS for the first two races of the WST.

“Everyone is looking forward to these races,” commented Brian Crockett, Western Sprint Tour Series Director, “we are expecting a very good car count and you can guarantee that the racing will be phenomenal.”

Cottage Grove is worldwide famous for producing some of the best action on the planet and there will no doubt be some thrills and excitement come next Friday and Saturday. Be sure and don't miss out on a piece of Sprint Car history and come on down to CGS for the first ever two races of this new and exciting series.

Cottage Grove already has hosted one 360 Sprint event in 2015 and California youngster Michael Kofoid captured the victory. If you're in the Cottage Grove area this weekend be sure and check out Cottage Grove Speedway on Saturday April 17th as the future of the WST will be in action that being the Clark Printing Extreme Sprints. You can be sure that several of these drivers will be filling the 360 Sprint ranks in the next few years.

Admission prices for the WST events on Friday April 24th and Saturday the 25th are Adults $15.00, Juniors/Seniors/Military $13.00, Youths (Ages 6-12) $8.00, and Children 5 & Under FREE. Both nights the Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, Qualifying 5:30, and Racing begins right around 6:45.

Support classes for the Friday night program will be Late Models and Street Stocks while Saturday will feature IMCA Modifieds and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. For the latest news and information regarding the Western Sprint Tour log on to sprints.nwextremeseries.com.
