The MSTS was established in 2015 with hopes to help save 360ci sprint car racing in the South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska region. The series has 20 races in those three states on the 2016 schedule, which begins May 22 at Badlands Motor Speedway in Brandon, S.D.
