Anticipation Bubbling for AGCO Jackson Nationals This Weekend at Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Aug. 29, 2016) – The biggest event of the season at Jackson Motorplex is on tap.
The 38th annual AGCO Jackson Nationals features the National Sprint League, Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour and Heartland Racing Association this Friday through Sunday.
The opening night will showcase $2,000-to-win, $400-to-start preliminary action for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour with the National Sprint League’s $3,000-to-win, $500-to-start preliminary night on Saturday. The HRA non-wing sprint cars will compete both nights.
The ASCS National Tour will utilize its normal format with the top four from the main event locking into Sunday’s feature redraw. The National Sprint League will lock the top eight drivers in combined qualifying, heat race and main event points into a pole shuffle on Sunday. All other drivers will compete on Sunday in heat races lined up straight up before a B Main determines the final A Main lineup.
Sunday’s event finale will pay $25,000 to the winner of the National Sprint League main event and $10,000 to the winner of the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour race. The NSL feature is a minimum of $1,000 to start and the ASCS National Tour is $500 to start.
Lap sponsors for Sunday’s National Sprint League main event include: DKW Transport, RK Design Group LLC, Maxim Racing, Great Lakes Concrete, Martin County Ready Mix and Signs By Cooper.
Additionally, the hard charger will receive $500 courtesy of Arnold Motor Supply. The 13th-place finisher will be given a front bumper and Jacobs Ladder courtesy of Hysteria Chassis. A total of $1,200 will be provided to pole shuffle drivers courtesy of Impact Signs/NextLED. The winner of the A Main will receive a full filtration system from Walker Performance Filtration.

Danny Lasoski and Craig Dollansky continue to duke it out for the National Sprint League championship. While Lasoski enters the weekend with a 128-point advantage – the biggest lead a points leader has had all season – the duo has swapped the lead in the championship standings five times this year.
Sam Hafertepe Jr. is the current Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour points leader. Hafertepe Jr. has used a series-leading seven feature victories and 20 top fives to build a 211-point lead over Johnny Herrera, who has won four times with the series.
Adult tickets for the AGCO Jackson Nationals are $25 for Friday night, $30 for Saturday and $35 for Sunday or $75 for all three nights with a weekend pass. Reserved seats are available for sale online at http://www.JacksonMotorplex.com.
The pits are slated to open at 2 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5 p.m. and hot laps around 7 p.m. each night
