Popejoy Incorporated & HOTROD Septic Treatment Join as Presenting Sponsors for the Inaugural Illinois Dirt Shootout
FAIRBURY, IL (March 11, 2024) As the countdown continues in anticipation for the inaugural Illinois Dirt Shootout for the MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment, work behind the scenes has been ongoing as the track and tour are excited to welcome Popejoy Incorporated and Hot Rod Septic Treatment to the event as the presenting sponsors. The event, now labeled, Popejoy Incorporated Presents the Illinois Dirt Shootout Powered by HOTROD Septic Treatment is set to take place Thursday-Saturday (May 23-25) and boasts over a $90,000 purse for the Saturday night feature alone.
ABOUT POPEJOY INC: Popejoy, Inc. is one of the Central Illinois area’s icons in plumbing, heating, and electrical service and maintenance that has established itself as a very reliable “go to” provider for quality work from the smallest projects to the big ones. Started in 1984 by Ray Popejoy, and now owned and operated by son’s Beau and Dustin, the company has grown and expanded to a well-balanced and staffed service and sales operation that has gained the attention and respect of a large and ever-growing clientele base.
Their main facility is located in Fairbury complete with showroom, a utility fleet that can handle anything, and a large, experienced staff that is ready to make it happen, or fix it, to their customer’s satisfaction in a timely and effective way. They also have a facility and showroom in Dwight that reflects the same quality of service and work that has become synonymous with the name.
They utilize all the top names in the merchandising end of the business, and they are one stop shopping for plumbing, heating and cooling, and electrical requirements from the products needed to the installation for new projects, replacement jobs, and anything in between. They have the experience, the history, and the resources necessary to do the job and to do it right. Popejoy’s have always had an energized determination to finish each job to the satisfaction of those who are having it done and their success at doing that is self-evident in the many customers that return every time they have a need.
ABOUT HOTROD SEPTIC TREATMENT: HOTROD Septic was founded in 2018 after breakthrough discoveries and success in the commercial manure management sector.
On a larger scale, HOTROD’s parent company works to manufacture sustainable and organic agricultural products for large, confined animal facilities to deal with common manure issues: Odor, Sludge, Solids and Contamination.
They treat 1-50 Million gallons of material at a time and can achieve full digestion with this proprietary formulation. After seeing some of the pictures of a fully digested lagoon, a family member asked if they could formulate something that would do that in a septic system. About 2-months into testing, he called to come look at a tank he had treated with the new formulation. It was completely water. The product had fully digested the waste in the tank.
Everything started right there. As a family with over 40 years working in the septic industry, this experience made a great platform for testing and trials. As 3rd party data was collected, it soon became clear that this was the best septic treatment ever created.
Since the success of its first residential septic treatment product — HOTROD Septic 180 — the company has now added a number of other waste treatment products including HOTROD Septic & Drain Field Treatment, HOTROD RV Holding Tank Treatment, and a complete line of professional-grade septic maintenance products available through authorized dealers.
