Sunoco Race Fuels Returns as Rookie of the Year Sponsor for 2024
FAIRBURY, IL (February 27, 2024) Officials with the MARS Dirt Series are excited to announce that Sunoco Race Fuels will be returning to both the MARS Late Model Championship Powered by FK Rod Ends and the MARS Modified Championship Powered by Summit Racing Equipment as the official race fuel of each tour. Along with that partnership, Sunoco will also be the presenting sponsor of the Rookie of the Year chase.
The Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year program will include a $7,500 payout between the two series, just as it did in 2023. The top-4 in final Rookie of the Year standings in each division will be rewarded. A driver must attend 80% of the series events to be eligible for Rookie of the Year money and awards at the end of the season.
Mike Harrison took home the honors of MARS Late Model Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year in 2023 followed by Blaze Burwell, Justin White, and Kye Blight. Charlie Mefford was the MARS Modified Sunoco Race Fuels Rookie of the Year in 2023 followed by Blake Bailey and Rick Frasure.

Registration Forms are now posted online and can be accessed at www.marsracingseries.com/forms. Registration forms must be submitted by the completion of the first weekend of competition for each series. Completed forms can be emailed to marsracingseries@gmail.com.
