Illinois Dirt Shootout (May 23-25) at Fairbury Speedway Pre-Registration Info
ILLINOIS DIRT SHOOTOUT IMPORTANT INFO
MARS MODIFIED CHAMPIONSHIP POWERED BY SUMMIT RACING EQUIPMENT DRIVERS & TEAMS
Pre-registration for the Illinois Dirt Shootout will open January 1, 2024, at 12 P.M. CST online at fairburyspeedway.com. The entry fee for the weekend will be $150 which will include transponder rental. The first 150 entries will be locked into the Illinois Dirt Shootout, while every entry exceeding 150 will be placed on a waitlist. Drivers on the list of 150 will have until April 1, 2024, to inform us if they are unable to make it, to be eligible for a refund. After this date, drivers on the waitlist will be notified (if need be) that they have been accepted into the event. The list of 150 will be posted online once the slots are filled. If space allows, additional entries surpassing 150 may be taken at a further date.
INFORMATION NEEDED FOR PRE-REGISTRATION
In addition to standard pre-entry information, entrants will also need to provide taxpayer information, hauler size, and transponder number (if the entrant owns an AMB transponder) to expedite the registration process at the racetrack and for planning purposes. $150 will be owed at the time of entry plus a $5 merchant charge.
MARS MODIFIED TECHNICAL RULES
The MARS Modified tour utilizes the DIRTcar UMP rulebook and will so for this event. NO EXCEPTIONS. The only tires approved for competition are the Hoosier: M-30S and M-60 compounds DIRTcar plated tire 26.5/8.0/15 or 27.5/8.0/15. The maximum width of the tire will be 9” inches. The M-60 may be used as a right rear option tire only. Grooving and siping of tires will be permitted.
FALS CUP / MARS LATE MODEL COMPETITORS
For the Illinois Dirt Shootout weekend, Late Model competitors are also encouraged to pre enter for planning purposes and to expedite entry at the racetrack. The entry fee for the weekend will be $70 which will include transponder rental. Late Model competitors will also be able to register the day-of at track. Pre-registration is not required for Late Model teams.
TICKETS AND CAMPING
Reserved seating and camping will be on sale at fairburyspeedway.com at 12 P.M. CST on January 1, 2024. Reserved seats will be $6 for the weekend plus the price of a general admission ticket. Reserved camping for the weekend will be $50. The North lot typically used for camping will be reserved for possible pit parking if needed.
