8/15 Race Recap from Bronco Raceway park

All we can say is wow what a night. The Lonestar 600's drew a great car count and put on one heck of a show. We had 4 Jr Sprint's, 7 Restrictor's, and 28 600's.

In the feature for the Jr. Sprints Timothy Watson took the lead from the start and never looked back lead it all. On the last lap diving into turn one Kayden Dirks took a stab at trying to get by and did not make it happen. These little ones put on a great show. Congrats to Timothy on his win and finally knocking Christopher Townsend off his win streak. Next up was the restrictor's Trey Burke and Isaiah Garcia sat on the front row. When the green flag dropped Isaiah got the jump on Trey going into turn one and lead the entire race. Congrats to Isaiah on his win. 3rd race of the night was the non wing 600's. 25 cars started the field and man was it a show. Jacob Harris found himself on the pole after the redraw. We took the green flag and going into turn one Albert Kelly found himself sitting up against the wall due to a steering malfunction. We would line them back up for a complete restart and try again. This time Kendall Batterbee and matt McDade found themselves entangled and intertwined together on the exit of turn 2. Which would bring out the red to take the time to get these 2 cars apart(Which was very difficult). We would eventually get them apart and line the field up 2 by 2 again for a third restart. This time we would get a lap in and the caution came out with Kevin Johnson having a chain issue. We would then race 7 consecutive laps before Oscar Aguilera would find himself going to the back due to a racing incident. After that I really just don't remember what happened till the green white checkered we found Anton Hernandez & Jacob Lucas putting a slide job on each other on both ends of the track. Anton Hernandez would find himself in victorylane winning by inches. Extremely close finish. Congrats to Anton on his win.

Next weekend the Lonestar 600's have a double header Fri night at Golden Triangle Raceway Park and Sat night at Gulf Coast Speedway.

Points are updated and reflecting all the lowest drops per class.
