BILLINGS, Mont. (June 8, 2024) Keeping his record perfect with the ASCS Frontier Region, Oregon's Tyler Thompson charged through the field Saturday night at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont.
Now three-for-three on the season, Thompson's charge to the top of the podium began from the ninth position. In pursuit of Kelly Miller, who had taken away the lead from Rich Bailey on Lap 8, Thompson made his move for the lead with six laps remaining.
Separated by 0.750-seconds at the finish, Miller kept pace over Bailey. Logan Forler and Phil Dietz completed the top five.
The series races again on Friday, July 12 at Gallatin Speedway and Saturday, July 13 at Electric City Speedway.
The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.
