Phil Dietz Tops ASCS Frontier At Gallatin Speedway

Bryan Hulbert - BELGRADE, Mont. (September 9, 2022) Bringing his total to 11 career wins with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region, the No. 72 of Phil Dietz wheeled to Victory Lane Friday night at Gallatin Speedway.
Leading the way from the start, the win was taken with a 1.026-second advantage over traveling Texas shoe, Channin Tankersley. Third went to Trever Kirkland, who in doing so, locked up the 2022 Brodix ASCS Frontier Region Championship going into Saturday’s finale at Big Sky Speedway. Kory Wermling and James Setters made up the top five.

Saturday's finale lists WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, IMCA sport compacts and INEX Legends on the card. Tickets are $20 for adults and kids over 60" tall, $15 for seniors and veterans, and as is tradition at Big Sky Speedway kids under 60" tall are in for free. Racing begins at 7:00 P.M. (MDT).
The 2022 season will mark the 31st year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation includes 11 Regional Tours encompassing both wing and non-wing competition.
