ROCK SPRINGS, Wy. (August 18, 2017) Snapping a winless streak in ASCS competition that stretched back to 2009 with the ASCS Rocky Mountain Region, Montana’s Jeremy McCune went to Victory Lane with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region at Wyoming’s Sweetwater Speedway on Friday night.

Non-stop for 25 laps, McCune’s victory is made even sweeter as it was just over a month ago that he was cleared by doctors to return to competition following an on track incident in May that left him with second and third-degree burns on his legs and ankles.

Coming through the field from sixth, South Dakota’s Ned Powers crossed second with Zac Taylor posting a third place finish in his first attempt with the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region.

David Hoiness fourth was trailed by Logan Forler to make the top-five. Rich Martin was sixth with Colorado’s Patrick Bourke in tow. Mindy McCord, Chauncey Filler, and Ben Holmberg completed the top-ten.

The Brodix ASCS Frontier Region returns to Sweetwater Speedway on Saturday, August 19.
