Beau Brown Subbing For Jeremy McCune With ASCS Frontier Region at Gallatin Speedway

BELGRADE, Mont. (June 7, 2017) The Brodix ASCS Frontier Region is back in action on Friday, June 9 at the Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont.

Jumping behind the wheel of the Finish Line Bar No. 0j for a spin in the world of Sprint Car Racing this weekend at Gallatin Speedway is Montana’s Beau Brown. An accomplished driver with fenders on, Brown is subbing for Jeremy McCune, who is recovering from an injury earlier this year while racing in Missouri.

“I’m excited to see what he can do in the car,” stated Jeremy McCune. “He rolls good in a Modified, and just about anything else with fenders, so it’ll be interesting to see what he can do in a Sprint Car. Heck, maybe we can get him hooked.”

Brown, who has never driven Sprint Car before, resides in Deer Lodge, Mont. and competes regularly at the Gallatin Speedway in WISSOTA Modified and Super Stock competition. In 2016, Brown finished sixth in the final Modified standings at the Gallatin Speedway, and eighth in Super Stocks.

On what made Brown the best candidate for the ride, Jeremy explained, “I’ve known Beau for a long time and know what he can do in a racecar but before we could get anything done, we had to make sure he could fit in the car comfortably and safely. He’s built similarly to me, but we made sure he was able to get in and out easily and didn’t move around in the car.”

The Brodix ASCS Frontier Region opened their 2017 season one week ago in Rapid City and Gillette. South Dakota’s Eric Lutz swept the weekend.

Friday, June 9 at Gallatin Speedway gets underway at 7:35 P.M. (MDT) and includes Modifieds and Street Stocks. Admission is $13 for adults with kids 12 and under free into the grandstands. For more information on the Gallatin Speedway, find the track on Facebook.
