Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series Debuting at 281 Speedway Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (March 20, 2017) – The Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass will make its debut at 281 Speedway this Saturday when the Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class divisions will compete at the bullring.

Frank Flud leads the Winged ‘A’ Class into the event as he has swept the four features contested this season. He owns a 34-point lead in the championship standings over Kevin Bayer, who has recorded two top fives and three top 10s this season. Jason McDougal is only one point behind Bayer with Kaylee Bryson ranked fourth – 42 points out of the lead – and Holley Hollan fifth – 52 points behind Flud.

Three different drivers have scored at least one Restricted ‘A’ Class triumph this season with Ryder Laplante leading the way with three victories. Noah Gass and Chase Randell each have one win.

Daison Pursley, who has a series-leading four top-five finishes, holds a six-point lead over Laplante in the championship standings. Randall is only one point behind Laplante with Dylan Pendergrass fourth – 12 points behind Pursley – and Kale Drake fifth – 38 points out of the top spot.

The pit gates are scheduled to open at 4 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5 p.m. The drivers meeting is at 5:15 p.m. with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.

General admission tickets are $12. However, the featured promotion is Halloween in March so anyone who dresses up in a costume will receive a $2 discount. Pit passes are $30.

Saturday is the first of two scheduled Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series visits to 281 Speedway this year. The series is slated to also compete at the track on July 1. Both shows are co-sanctioned with the Driven Midwest NOW600 North Texas Region.
