Harris Goes Back-to-Back in NOW600 Outlaw Competition as Flud Doubles Up in A-Class and Non-Wing Action.
WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (August 8, 2015) – The NOW600 Micro Sprint Series presented by MyRacePass.com returned to action at the Flint Creek Speedway this past Friday with Travis Harris and Frank Flud both visiting Driver Websites Victory Lane.
Travis Harris went back-to-back in NOW600 Outlaw competition by sweeping the night and leading flag-to-flag. Taking advantage of his pole starting spot, Harris took off into the commanding lead and never looked back. Chad Bell kept his starting spot through the whole 15-lap affair to cross home in the runner up spot. Noah Harris rounded out the podium after starting third. After taking the restrictors out for the first time, Jace McIntosh claimed a top five finish coming home in fourth after starting seventh, with David McIntosh advancing one spot to bring up the top five.
Frank Flud started off his night taking home the victory in the NOW600 Non-Wing division. After taking home the victory in his heat race, Flud started from the third spot to immediately take his number 81 straight to the front and would be chased by Dean Drake, Jr who started alongside of Flud, but came up a spot short and would cross the line in second. Roy Maxwell fell back one position from his starting spot to come home in third. Hard charger of the night went to Ace McCarthy came from the eleventh starting spot advancing seven positions to fourth with Bailey Felkins rounding out the top five after advancing up one position.
Frank Flud Doubled up in NOW600 Stock action after sweeping the Non-Wing action, Flud also completed the sweep in the NOW600 A-Class competition over Dean Drake, Jr who each started side-by-side on the front row at the start of the 15- lap affair. Cannon McIntosh who took the restrictor plates out recorded a podium finish after starting in the third spot. After starting in the fifth starting spot, David McIntosh advanced one spot to cross home in fourth with Bobby McIntosh falling back one spot from his starting position to cross home in fifth.
The NOW600 Micro Series presented by MyRacePass.com returns to action on Thursday, August 20 as the Non-Wing division takes on the Creek County Speedway, then all four NOW600 sanctioned classes will make their inaugural appearance at South Coffeyville Speedway on Friday, August 21.
