Hughes and McDoulett lead wire-to-wire to score "Thursday night Thunder" wins

SAPULPA, Okla. (June 20, 2013) – Bailey Hughes and Earl McDoulett Jr. score “Thursday night Thunder” wins tonight at the Creek County Speedway.

A whopping 40 NOW600 Non-Wing cars signed in to do battle at the quick quarter mile. Earl McDoulett Jr. would start on the pole of the 20 lap affair, and would jump out to the race lead and would not look back to lead wire-to-wire. Runner up Steven Shebester started from the 10th position in the nights ‘A’ Feature event and would charge up to second on lap 15. Kinzer Edwards rounded out the podium coming from the 6th position. Frank Flud and Jeffrey Newell rounded out the top 5.

14 cars were set to do some racing tonight at the Creek County Speedway, as the young Bailey Hughes scored her first NOW600 Restrictor win. The young lady would start outside row one, and at the drop of the green flag, she would jump out to the race lead, and would also go wire-to-wire in the 20 lap feature event. Joey Schmidt started in the fifth starting position in the ‘A’ and would run up to the second spot. Brendan Wiseley rounded out the podium. Ryan Hunt, and Jaiden Hughes rounded out the top 5 in the NOW600 Restricted Division.

Our next race will be Friday night July 19th at the Creek County Speedway with the American Bank of Okla. ASCS Sooner Region Sprint Cars.
