Gerrits Tops Badger Micro Field At Chilton
Chilton, Wis., Sept. 19--- Will Gerrits captured the season finale 25-lap Badger 600 Micro Series, Saturday Night at Chilton Speedway. The victory was his first career feature victory. The event marked the first ever appearance for the series at the ¼-mile dirt oval, and was part of the track's popular multi-division Chilton Fall Invitational.
Brandon Sletten who already clinched the series championship finished second behind Gerrits, after leading the initial nine laps. Zach Boden finished third claiming the events "Performance Motporsports Hard Charger Award" after starting in the last row. Heat race winner Jared Cech, and Norm Ehrke completed the top five.
