Malvern Bank 360 Sprints
Teams Ready to Get Back at It!
It will have been 3 weeks since the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank have traveled to any track when the green flag flies this Friday evening at Jackson Motorplex. With the rainout last Saturday at Junction Motor Speedway, it gave many teams an opportunity to turn wrenches and gather their thoughts heading into a back to back night of racing this upcoming weekend. It has been a rough start for many of our teams with several teams losing motors, wrecking cars, and other mechanical issues that have sidelined them for the past several weeks. Hopefully this long break has allowed those teams to gather their thoughts and regroup to get back to the track.
The weekend ahead looks to be very hot and muggy for those traveling north Friday to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota. Friday night's event will see three different series take to the newly configured track in Jackson. The Midwest Power Series and the Property Solutions of America MSTS Series will join us in a $2500 to win event and $400 to start the A main.
The following night, we will head south to Park Jefferson Speedway in another clash with the MSTS 360 Series. This event will pay $2000 to win and $350 to start. Eric Lutz took home the $10,000 check, most recently from Park Jefferson, when he won the South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals in late April.
Currently, Jason Martin holds a 21 point lead over Jack Dover in the points. Seth Brahmer currently sits 3rd with 60 points but rookie, Shayle Bade, is only 5 points back behind Brahmer and just 65 points off of Martin.
