Crawford County Fair Results from 7/24/14
On a cool July night, the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints made an appearance at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Denison, Iowa. Even though there were only 16 sprint cars in the pits, the action was once again fast and furious. Billy Alley won the first heat race and Jeff Carlson found himself winning his first ever heat race. With all 16 cars transferring to the feature with Tyler Drueke and Seth Brahmer leading the field to the green flag to start the A Feature on the fast 3/8 mile oval. Charging to the front from his 8th starting position was William Alley in the Ironwood Construction, Carpetland, Colby Ridge,#3. William maintained the lead from mid-race on with challenges from Jack Dover in the 53 Sprinter. Alley was able to stretch the lead to his first victory with the Nebraska 360 Sprint Series. Following Alley was Dover, Seth Brahmer, Tyler Drueke, Trevor Grossenbacher, Tasker Phillips, John Klabunde, Jason Danley, Cody Ledger and Devin (Bart) FRedrichson rounding out the Top 10.

Butler County Speedway 7/26/14
With our 2nd race in 3 nights threatening weather and two other 360 race in the area, only 13 cars were in the pits. Brent Pick and crew worked hard to making the racing surface race ready after a brief downpour. Heat races were won by Jeff Carlson and Cody Ledger. With all 13 cars transferring to the feature, Seth Brahmer and Rick Hansen led the field to the green flag. Brahmer led the field for the first 10 laps until he had an issue which caused him to slow up and have Carlson hit him in the rear bumper and Grossenbacher then ran into the back of Carlson, causing Carlson to flip. After the red flag, Grossenbacher held the point for two laps until a flat right front tire resulted in Grossenbacher relinquishing the lead to John Klabunde. Once the race resumed Klabunde maintained the lead for the next 7 laps until he was run down by William Alley seeking his 2nd consecutive win. Following Alley to the checkered flag was Klabunde, Trevor Grossenbacher, Tayler Forbes, Seth Brahmer, Gage Dorr, Rick Hansen, Gregg Schuetz, Ryan Kitchen and Jeff Carlson. The Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints will take the next month off and will return to action on 8/31/14 at I-80 Speedway for the Bobby Parker Memorial race that will pay $3000 to win.
