POWRi Sanctioning B-Mod and Hornet Divisions

Belleville, IL. (12/14/2022) Constantly striving to evolve while meeting the growing demand of premier grassroots racing, Performance Open Wheel Racing Incorporated is pleased to announce the sanctioning of POWRi B-Mod and POWRi Hornet Divisions for the 2023 season and beyond.

“After the initial launch of the POWRi Weekly Divisions that has witnessed continual growth, with even more tracks added to the program in 2023, we have been working thoroughly at the request of several tracks to develop a package to ensure race programs can maintain and grow within the sanctioned B-Mod and Hornet classes,” said Kenny Brown of POWRi.

Going on to add “POWRi has over twenty-five series competing in over 500 events on the schedule for 2023 and these programs will receive the same attention and national recognition all other divisions POWRi continues to offer. We must strive to develop cost-effective classes that give competitors and tracks racing programs consisting of continual growth opportunities and competitiveness.”

Including extra incentives for competitors that will see each track offering their POWRi B-Mod Division and POWRi Hornet Division their normal track championships as well as POWRi offering a POWRi Midwest year-end point fund for members participating across the entire group of weekly sanctioned facilities. POWRi B-Mod Division and POWRi Hornet Division will have NO cost to the tracks with a revised rule package similar if not identical to current local sanctioning bodies that can be found online at B-Mods: http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=781593 and Hornets: http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=781578.

Mandatory membership is required for all drivers in all divisions participating at POWRi Sanctioned tracks. Driver membership fee is $100, which provides each POWRi driver with a $100,000 Secondary Insurance Policy.
