Schuett Racing Inc. set to compete in 5th annual Battle at the Center!
Philo, IL- Kyle Schuett will pilot the #31 Illiana Insurance Agency and Bergfield Farms- sponsored, Esslinger-powered Spike midget in the 5th annual POWRi Battle at the Center on Saturday, December 20th in Du Quoin, Illinois. Kyle has 5 POWRi midget events under his hat this season with 4 POWRi feature event starts and a stand-alone feature start at the Kokomo Klash in Kokomo, Indiana. Kyle recorded his best career POWRi midget finish in July at St. Francois County Raceway with a 14th place finish. With 2 POWRi micro-sprint starts back in September of 2012 at the “Mini-Magic Mile,” Kyle hopes to translate that knowledge towards the Battle at the Center with the midget. With the POWRi Battle at the Center attracting big-name drivers such as open wheel shoe Bryan Clauson, World of Outlaw’s sprint car star Joey Saldana and NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., making the feature alone will be a daunting task for every driver attending.
