CJ Hulsey Handles POWRi Vado 305 Wing Sprint Feature Victory

Belleville, IL. (8/7/22) CJ Hulsey would advance four positions in the tight POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprint feature event Saturday Night to capture his second career victory since 2018 over a stout entry field at Vado Speedway Park in the “Hot City Night at the Races” program.

Early on-track action would witness Vance Wofford and Dylan Harris each earn the heat race victories with Aydan Saunders and Derek DeMartino lining up on the front row entering the twenty-five-lap feature event.

Blasting from the fifth starting spot, CJ Hulsey would find victory lane after the feature event to gain his first feature win in the Vado 305 Sprints of 2022 as Robert Herrera would race from starting fourth to finishing runner-up with Dylan Harris among the leaders to placing third from starting sixth.

Pole-starting Aydan Saunders would maintain a solid showing all event to finish fourth as eighth-starting Royal Jones rounded out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints Saturday Night.

Automotive Pure Stocks, Hulsey Racing Legends, and the S&J Automotive USRA Stock Cars all competing on the finely prepared surfaces of Vado Speedway Park with the on-track action beginning at 7:30 PM.
