Rain Soaks I-35 Speedway for POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints, Lake Ozark Date Next

Belleville, IL. (06/26/2021) Hindered by the cancelation of the familiar running grounds of I-35 Speedway, in Winston Missouri, the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints will now shift their focus as part of the Lake Ozark Speedway’s Super Sprint Nationals on Saturday, July 3rd.

Currently, within the POWRi MLS Chase Fischer has maneuvered his way to four of the seven series feature event victories with Bobby Layne joining in on the winning twice and Stanley Kreisel also checking into victory lane. Riding the wave of momentum to the top of the season standings Fischer stays ahead of Layne by less than twenty points. Kenny Bowers, Tyler Johnson, and Jeff Bard round out the present season points standings.

Up next for the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints will be a trip to Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri on Saturday, July 3rd, as part of the POWRi RaceSaver Super Sprint Independence Nationals. Classes scheduled to compete include the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints, USRA B-Mods, Midwest Mods, and POWRi RaceSaver Super Sprints for a full slate of evening racing including fireworks display after feature racing completes all for the “Car-Load Special” general admission price of only $25/Vehicle.
