Super Sprints Battle it Out at Lake Ozark Speedway

Belleville, IL. (06/06/2021) Battling for nearly every green-flag lap of competition, the POWRi Super Sprint drivers registered for Lake Ozark Speedway would not hold anything back on their second night of racing in 2021 with the Open-Wheel Legend Randy Martin claiming the feature win on the well-prepared one-third-mile oval.

Heat Race winner Dean Hathman would earn the pole-starting position for the feature event with the Sprint Car Hall of Famer Randy Martin lined up to his outside. Once green-flag racing commenced the veteran Martin would prove to be up to the Super Sprint test.

Jumping out to an early commanding lead, Martin would set the lap-times to beat en-route to notching yet another win to his iconic racing career. Hathman would keep pace with the winner Martin driving to a close-finishing second placement as Matt Fox finished third. Doug Fry and the hard-charging Kaitlyn Boland would break out into a race within a race as Fry finished fourth and Boland rounded out the Lake Ozark Speedway top-five finishers in the POWRi Super Sprint division.
