Brad Peterson tops the PIRTEK UMSS Field for Battle of the Bus Night at Cedar Lake Speedway

Saturday brought beautiful weather, school buses and the UMSS to the Cedar Lake Speedway. The PIRTEK UMSS traditional sprint cars fielded 17 cars for the night running two heat races and a 25 lap feature race putting on a fabulous show in front of a record crowd.

The #14 of Cam Schafer would take the top spot in PIRTEK Heat 1 followed by 87- Mike Mueller, 19B - Jack Berger, 99 - Bryan Roach, 7 - Harry Hanson, 00 - Ryan Buck, K1 - Kevin Lear and the 69s - Jon Lewerer.

Brad Peterson would pilot his #93 quickly out front from the 3rd starting position for the top spot in the Rock Auto Heat 2 followed by 12x- Blake Anderson, 78 Rob Caho Jr, 38S - Allen Stettner, 2J - John Lowe, 34 - Denny Stordahl, 65 Jeff Kirchner, 77E - Bob Englund, and the 19 - Todd Hansen.

Brad Peterson would start on the pole and hold off a hard charging Cam Schafer for his first win of the season parking the #93 in Rock Auto Victory Lane. Jon Lewerer would be the hard charger of the night advancing 8 positions to finish 5th.

Next up for the PIRTEK UMSS Traditional Sprint cars is May 25 at Rice Lake Speedway and May 26 at Eagle Valley Speedway.
