O'Reilly Auto Parts Wingless Sprint Challenge Series - Round #2

Next up is the first of 2 trips to the 1/3 mile of Willamette Speedway. This race will also be round 2 of 4 for the Orielly’s Auto Parts Willamette Valley Wingless Sprint Challenge, round 1 saw Lance Hallmark victorious at Sunset Speedway Park.

Coming off last Saturday’s win at GHR, Jonathan Jorgenson became the 5th different winner in as many races for the 2019 season. He joined Hallmark, Kyle Miller, Shawn Rice, Lindsay Barney in the win column.

Willamette Speedway hosted 2 events last year as well. Both were can’t miss races. The first saw a showdown for the ages between Rob Lindsey and Tim Alberding including 10+ lead changes, ultimately with Alberding securing win in lap traffic. The second saw Lindsay Barney look like she’d get her first win on the 1/3 mile, however a deflating right rear with 5 to go allowed Pat Canfield beat her in a photo finish to take the win.

We know one thing Willamette Speedway is always exciting when sprint cars are in the house. A track that’s known for stock car racing, has shown that it can provide unbelievable racing action.

Prices and times are as follows

Pit Gates open at noon

Drivers meeting 3:30pm

Front Gates open at 4pm

Racing at 5pm

ADULTS $14.00

SENIORS (62 & Up) MILITARY/JUNIOR 13-17 $10.00

YOUTHS 6-12 $ 5.00 (all kids under 5 years of age free)

FAMILY $35.00 (2 Adults and up to 4 Youth)

PIT PASSES $30.00

OVERNIGHT PARKING $10 A NIGHT
