Rob Lindsey Scores Win At Madras Speedway; Coos Bay Ironman Challenge Next

Madras, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series visited Madras Speedway for the final time this season on Saturday, August 18th. There would be thirteen drivers in attendance at the central Oregon ¼-mile clay oval.
Rob Lindsey, from Sherwood, conquered the field to earn his fourth series win of the campaign. Bend native Ryan Arnold was the runner-up over third finishing Lindsay Barney, of Eagle Creek. Salem’s Tim Alberding placed fourth while Sutherlin driver Cooper Desbiens crossed the wire in fifth.
Two sets of heat races were ran with Rob Lindsey, Lindsay Barney, Ryan Arnold, and Cooper Desbiens grabbing wins. Ariel, Washington’s Pat Canfield was victorious in the trophy dash.
The Wingless Sprint Series wraps up the 2018 season on Saturday, September 1st at Coos Bay Speedway. The event is being billed as the Ironman Challenge. For the latest news and information log on to wingless.nwextremeseries.com .
